A message from Frankie's Mum
When Frankie was 6 and 7 she was being bullied at school. What started as exclusion and unkind words slowly chipped away at her until she told me she no longer wanted to be on this earth. As her mum those words stopped me in my tracks. We made the decision to pull her out of school and spent the next year truly healing, working on her nervous system, her sense of self and helping her remember who she was.
This year she walked back into school on her own terms and she is an entirely different child. Confident, grounded, emotionally articulate and so full of life. She faces challenges now with a maturity that honestly takes my breath away.
Frankie created two affirmation eBooks, one for girls and one for boys, because she wants every child to know they are enough, they are loved and they matter. She set herself a goal of raising $1,000 and every single cent is being donated to Dolly's Dream.
I didn't ask her to do this. I didn't suggest it. This came entirely from her heart.
