Australia Goes Blue to End Bullying

24 Apr 2026

Australia Turns Blue for Do It For Dolly Day!

For a few nights, skylines will shift. Landmarks will glow. Bridges, buildings and monuments across the country will light up in blue.

Why? It's a visual reminder that kindness matters, and that bullying has no place in our communities.

This Do It For Dolly Day, we’re incredibly proud to have iconic structures across Australia joining us in Going Blue to End Bullying to create a kinder, safer world for young people.

Why Blue?

Blue was Dolly’s favourite colour, and today it has become a symbol of kindness and action.

Do It For Dolly Day is a national day of action inspired by the story of Dolly Everett, and the movement her family created through Dolly’s Dream. It’s a day that encourages all of us to speak up and be part of ending bullying.

When these landmarks light up blue they’re helping shine a light on an issue that affects too many young Australians and their families every day.

They’re helping start conversations.
They’re showing young people they’re not alone.
They’re reminding all of us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Who's Going Blue?

This year, we’re very honoured to have a growing number of structures taking part across the country, each one helping amplify this important message.

To every organisation and team involved, thank you. Your support helps bring national attention to this cause and shows what’s possible when communities come together.

From the evening of May 6, landmarks will begin glowing blue, with more joining in on May 7 & 8 as the nation comes together for Do It For Dolly Day.
