Do It For Dolly Day Fundraiser – Year 5 Making a Difference
Our Year 5 students are learning that words have power and that young people can create meaningful change in the world around them.
As part of our English unit, students are exploring how to captivate an audience through powerful arguments, persuasive language, and purposeful writing that raises awareness of social injustices. They are learning about important ethical issues and the inspiring young people who have used their voices to stand up for what is right and make a lasting impact.
Through our support of Do It For Dolly Day, students will see that they too can be changemakers. This fundraiser is more than raising money — it is about raising awareness, showing kindness, standing against bullying, and empowering students to believe that their voices matter.
By taking part, our Year 5 cohort is putting their learning into action and demonstrating that persuasive words, compassionate hearts, and brave voices can help create a kinder and safer world for everyone.
Together, we can make a difference.
