Go Blue to End Bullying
Dolly Everett was a kind, caring and talented young girl who took her own life at 14 years old after ongoing bullying and cyber bullying. The Dollys Dream foundation was created to spark a movement and spread awareness for the effects of bullying across Australia.
“We exist because no child, young person, parent or carer should feel alone. Dolly’s Dream was born from tragedy, but it lives to create change, building a world where kindness is stronger than bullying.” - Dolly’s Dream Foundation.
The Dollys dream foundation provides support services across the country from Anti Bullying Workshops to 24/7 support services and act as a constant reminder to “Speak even if your voice Shakes”.
Since 2018, Dolly’s Dream has reached thousands of schools, delivered hundreds of workshops, and supported families across Australia with practical tools and counselling services. Together, we’re building a kinder, safer future for young people.
What we can do as a centre 💙:
On May 8th Nurture early learning will stand alongside thousands of other Australians and Wear Blue in support, raising funds and awareness against bullying and spread a message of Kindness.
We will be holding a guess the number of lollies in the jar over the next few weeks.
Large Jar - $1 a guess
Small Jar - 50c a guess
Keep an eye out in the foyer for the jars!
All of the proceeds will be donated to the Dolly’s Dream Foundation
Commemorating Do it for Dolly Day as a childcare centre helps:
