External Code of Conduct
Dolly’s Dream was set up in memory of Dolly Everett, aged 14, who took her own life after an extended period of bullying and cyberbullying. Dolly left behind her parents Kate and Tick Everett, sister Meg, and other family and friends who are now focused on using community donated funds to help prevent other families from going through the same devastating experience. Dolly’s Dream is proudly brought to you by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation.
Our Mission
To empower and educate the community about bullying and cyberbullying, and its devastating effects.
Our Vision
Dolly’s Dream will act as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and create change by:
- Raising awareness about the seriousness of bullying and its devastating effects
- Working to address bullying and cyber bullying issues in regional Australia
- Delivering advice on mitigation to schools
- Changing culture to help prevent bullying from happening
As a representative of Dolly’s Dream, I am committed to supporting the work done by Dolly’s Dream in educating the community bullying and cyberbullying, and empowering people to speak up, even if their voice shakes.

- I understand the role I play in being associated with Dolly’s Dream, and the responsibilities that go along with this association.
- I support Dolly’s Dream and all their initiatives to educate and eradicate bullying and cyber bullying in communities across Australia.
Respect
- I respect the Dolly’s Dream message, and Kate and Tick’s vision to prevent other families from suffering the same or similar experience.
- I respect that engaging in in-person and online interactions and communications is a privilege, and one that should be approached in a respectful and constructive manner.
- I respect the work of the Dolly’s Dream team and the Alannah & Madeline Foundation in raising awareness, addressing issues and changing attitudes with regards to bullying and cyber bullying
Responsibilities
- I value my association with Dolly’s Dream and take the relationship with the utmost seriousness.
- I will use my voice to be an advocate for the Dolly’s Dream mission and ensure that I don’t partake in any in-person or online interactions that conflict with the Dolly’s Dream ethos.
- I commit to ensuring my actions, big or small, further support the positive cultural shift that Dolly’s Dream is dedicated to making.
I understand, respect and acknowledge the Dolly’s Dream Code of Conduct outlined above.
I commit to conducting myself in a manner that is supportive and in-line with the mission and vision of Dolly’s Dream.
I value my association with Dolly’s Dream and understand that failure to conduct myself in a manner that is in-line with this Code of Conduct may result in the termination of my association with Dolly’s Dream.
